About Me

From as far back as I can remember I have loved all thing electrical, mechanical, and automotive, I bought my first motorcycle at 16 & a car at 18.  From owning the car I decided to do all the repairs myself, being in an engineering job I quickly learned all the skills I would need to keep her on the road & keep her safe.  I did become proficient as I ended up fixing all my friends cars too, i read all I could, hung around with like minded mates who all taught me more & on the rare occasion I taught them something, I loved the electrical side more than the mechanical and was soon helping mechanic friends diagnose and fix all the cars electrical issues, some a complete re-wire to repairing looms & gauges, lights and ignition faults.

The world of car electrical systems has come along way in the 30 years & has changed considerably & I guess this progression will still continue to evolve as will my interest in this area.

My professional career has also mirrored my electrical interests as I have worked in industry, the commercial & private/domestic sectors as an electrical & mechanical engineer, the majority of this in a fault finding capacity which I enjoyed immensely & still do.  Computers are also a second passion so the world of cars has over spilled for me into both worlds I call home.

My Goal

My real goal is to help people with problems, to offer genuine reliable honest advice and hopefully point them in the direction they need to be travelling in, over the years I have gained a good amount of knowledge through experience & the assistance of others who share the same virtues

My Wish

My wish really mirrors my goals, this to be able to provide the correct advice to all that are in need of help, I dont advocate to know everything or to have done everything all I can do is pass on my experience, knowledge & advice to all that request some assistance.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,
